IN THE BEGINNING

The story begins in 2013 when, Dallas Waines, left his corporate travel career in Toronto, Canada, for some excitement and opportunity in Vietnam. While working as an English teacher, Dallas teamed up with fellow expat, Miguel Enes, and they began putting the plans together for Vietnam’s first, House Music fueled pool party series.

THE FUN GOT MADE

After visiting a ridiculous amount of pools in Saigon, Dallas came upon the New World Saigon Hotel and the dream venue was found. Hotel management had some concerns but saw the potential in his vision. With Dallas’ past experience creating a successful pool party series in Taipei, Taiwan, they decided to take a chance. With that, Saigon Soul was born.

MAKING SAIGON BETTER

Since opening on February 15th, 2014, the goal has always been a consistent fun filled pool party powered by great House DJs and fun party crowds. Not much has changed. The party atmosphere would keep the crowds happy and word of Saigon Soul spread with each passing event. Over the years, Saigon Soul teamed up with a diverse group of like minded sponsors and partners, who all helped grow the event into what it is today.

THE FUTURE of SAIGON SOUL

With the success of Saigon Soul, talks to expand the Soul Pool Party brand to other Southeast Asian cities are currently happening. Saigon Soul clothing also looms on the horizon. Regardless of where we end up, we’ll always stay true to our goal of creating a House Music fueled pool party that the crowds love. Upscale, chic, yet, down, dirty and outright affordable.
